“中国陶都陶醉中国”城市形象品牌的确立,是宜兴迈出塑造城市新形象的重要一步。在陶文化节中宜兴的城市形象、品牌和文化都得到了极具层次、极为完整的展示。文化是历史、是积淀,是一座城市由内而外散发的气质;而品牌是一种象征、一个符号,是让所有人提起便可知晓的特征标识。千年炉火淬出的陶瓷艺术就是“中国陶都”——宜兴的文化品牌。
