红阳猕猴桃属中华系猕猴桃品种,原产于四川省苍溪县,该地区有栽培红阳猕猴桃得天独厚的生态环境。红阳猕猴桃果心横截面呈放射状红色条纹形似太阳,光芒四射,故称“红阳猕猴桃”。红阳猕猴桃果实中大、整齐,一般单果重60~100g;果实为短圆柱形,果皮呈绿褐色,无毛。果汁特多,酸甜适中,清香爽口;鲜食、加工俱佳。红阳猕猴桃总糖高达13.45%,高出世界流行品种海沃德近5%,而总酸只有0.49%,可溶性固形物16.5%,富含钙、铁、钾等多种矿物质,每100g果肉含维生素C350mg,是苹果的100倍,有“维C之王”的美称;
