在不同程度的水分胁迫下 ,供试的不同品种棉花叶片的叶绿素含量和主茎叶片的光合速率均随着干旱程度的加剧而明显地下降 ,各供试品种在不同处理之间的差异都达到极显著的水平。棉花叶片中叶绿素含量与其光合速率有着显著的正相关关系。从光合速率的变化可以看出 ,新陆早 6号对水分较敏感 ,抗旱性弱 ,新陆早 1号与新陆早 6号类似 ;而新陆早 4号在轻度到中度干旱时 ,光合速率下降较缓 ,只有到严重干旱时 ,其光合速率才会受到严重影响。说明它对轻、中度干旱有着较强的抵御能力
