一、概述路基强度及稳定性是保证路面整体强度的主要关键。我国公路路基多系土质路基,其强度及稳定性又与其含水量大小有密切关系。在水稻田地区及地下水位较高的平原及丘陵地带,路基含水量大小主要取决于路基填土高度。公路路面、路基设计及施工规范中一直很强调路基对原地面而言应有一定的填土高度,否则就必须认真采取特殊降低地下水位及防止渗流等有效措施。以往不少地区由于对挖方路基没有认真解决渗流问题,往往导致路面严重损坏。
