2010年岁末年初,最令人无法接受最令人猝不及防最令人震惊不已的一件事情,恐怕就是作家史铁生先生因脑溢血发作而突然弃世的消息。只有当这一颗高贵的灵魂彻底离开我们之后,我们才在痛定思痛之际突然间意识到他的存在对于中国文学界究竟有多么重要,才意识到史铁生其实正是一位我们已经呼唤了很久的伟大杰出的作家。无论是《我的遥远的清平湾》,还是《我与地坛》;无论是《插队的故事》,还是《命若琴弦》;无论是《务虚笔记》,还是《我的丁一之旅》,都可以被看做是中国当代文学史上带有经典意味的文学作品。在这里,我们以发表李锐先生的旧作《自由的行魂,或者史铁生的行为艺术》和重读其经典短篇小说《我的遥远的清平湾》的方式,来特别地寄托本刊同仁对史铁生先生深深的哀思。需要特别说明的一点是,因为时间紧迫,发稿在即,所以重读《清平湾》的任务只好由在下赤膊上阵了。好在,重读史铁生先生早期的这一个短篇小说,我还真的是有一些别样的真切体会。
