案例:某校初中学生马超,学习成绩不佳,守纪情况亦差。一天,他在教学楼内玩球,故意将一个价值300元的吊灯打坏。学校在查明事情经过后,依据学校有关损坏公物要赔偿和罚款的规章制度,对马超作出三点处理决定:(1)给予警告处分;(2)照价赔偿吊灯;(3)罚款500元。对此,学校、教师、学生和学生家长都没有感到不妥。该校校长还在全校师生大会上以此事为案例,大谈依法治校、从严治校的重要性。
