随着我国改革开放的进一步深化以及国际交往的日益频繁,作为我国教育重要组成部分的高职教育越来越重视学生英语口语能力,培养具有一定口语水平的初级专业技术人才,也是高职类学校适应社会发展和解决高职生就业及其自身更好的职业发展前景的需要。同时,近年来各种国家、省级、市级职业类英语技能大赛的广泛开展,让各类高职院校找到了展示各自办学水平的平台和彼此竞争的机会。而学生口语能力的强弱、口语教学水平的高低在其中起到了决定性作用。
With the further deepening of China’s reform and opening up and the increasing frequency of international exchanges, higher vocational education, an important part of China’s education, places more emphasis on students’ oral English ability and cultivates junior professional and technical personnel with a certain level of oral English. Adapt to social development and solve the employment of higher vocational students and their own better career development prospects. In the meantime, various national, provincial and municipal occupational English skills competitions have been extensively conducted in recent years, enabling various vocational colleges to find a platform and a chance to compete with each other.
