英语阅读是英语学习中的一个重要方面,学生阅读能力的高低直接影响到学生运用英语的能力,因而培养学生的英语阅读能力也就成为英语教学中的一个重要组成部分。但是目前总的来说,英语阅读教学的状况并不理想,学生普遍存在着阅读速度慢,理解能力差的现象。尽管教师和学生投入了大量的时间和精力,但是效果却并不十分明显,从而形成一种“高耗低效”的现象。应该如何改变这种低效率的现象,提高阅读教学质量,切实提高学生运用语言的能力呢?本文从实际出发,对英语阅读教学进行研究和探索,提出相应的对策。
English reading is an important aspect of English learning. The reading ability of students has a direct impact on students ’ability to use English. Therefore, developing students’ English reading ability has become an important part of English teaching. However, at present, the situation of English reading teaching is not ideal, and students generally have the problems of slow reading and poor understanding. Although teachers and students devoted a great deal of time and energy, the effect is not very obvious, resulting in a phenomenon of “high consumption and low efficiency.” How to change this phenomenon of inefficiency, improve the quality of reading teaching, and improve students’ abilities to use language effectively? This paper studies and explores English reading teaching from the reality, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.
