一北京工艺美术服务部的顾客有不少是外宾,外宾买东西要了解商品、询问价钱。可是由于大部分售货员不懂外语,买卖做不成,影响了外汇收入,降低了服务质量。针对这一情况,服务部决定通过考核,挑选一些懂外语的售货员当向导,陪同外宾选购商品。去年十月举行考试,有16人报名,考试内容主要是结合商品知识考听说能力,结果有6人入选(英语4人,日语2人)。这些向导上任后,既方便了外宾,又多做生意赚了钱。但是向导人数太少了。旅游季节游客增多,今年四月份中的几天,仅“皇家之星”环球旅行船就有700人来
