在温室条件下,以条中17、22、23和25号小种分别接种5叶龄的平原50等慢锈品种,对接种后不同时间的受侵叶片进行了整体透明加染色的组织学观察,并在接种后第14~19天测定了日产孢量。发现慢锈品种受侵组织中不同程度地发生了细胞坏死,其面积随时间进展而扩大,感病对照品种燕大1817中未发现任何坏死现象,各供试慢锈品种中菌丝扩展面积及产孢量均小于感病对照。对以上两项观察结果在慢锈性上的生物学意义及其在慢锈性鉴定中应用的可能性进行了探讨。
