The chapter on climate is the focus of geography teaching in middle school and it is also a difficult point. How well does the teacher talk about this chapter, how do students understand and master it, and how does it affect the entire geography teaching? Because of the close connection between climate and landforms, rivers, flora and fauna, soil and agriculture and animal husbandry, learning the climate is the key to mastering geography. Below I will talk about some experiences in my teaching practice for many years. First, explain the basic concepts and follow basic knowledge. In the first chapter of China’s geographic climate, the term “weather and climate” was introduced. The term “weather” refers to atmospheric conditions such as cloudy weather, wind and rain, hot and cold, etc. in a short period of time. Climate refers to the weather characteristics of a place for many years. Both are atmospheric
