什么是科学精神?这是一个仁者见仁,智者见智的问题,但究其本质,科学精神可归纳为三个方面:求真求实精神、创新精神、怀疑批判精神。科学精神是人类精神中不朽的旋律。它激励着人们驱除愚昧,破除迷信和轻信,冲破旧传统观念的束缚,求实创新,不断推动社会的进步,无论是西方近代的文艺复兴运动,还是中国现代的五四运动,都充分展示了科学精神的巨大作用。在21世纪之初,在中国面临新的发展机遇的今天,党和国家对科学精神的呼唤达到了前所未有的程度,而科学精神也已逐步渗透到中国人民的思想意识观念中。
