当前,理工类院校英语专业的发展前景和学生就业情况堪忧,学生的“说、写、译”等语言输出能力比较薄弱,不能很好地适应社会对高水平的英语复合型英语人才的需求。以文秋芳教授“输出驱动假设”为理论指导,理工类院校英语专业的实践课程应围绕“说、写、译”等语言输出能力展开,整个实践课程体系应更系统、更完善、在深度和广度上加强实践环节的内涵,切实提高学生的语言应用能力。
