在股树根系范围内埋施电石或充乙炔气体是避免树干施药防害树皮的高效刺激方法。对针刺采胶而言,埋施电石比涂施乙烯利增产效果更显著,稀释效应更强烈。成龄芽接树的电石施用量以每15~20天埋施10~15克为宜。胶树基部施用乙炔或乙烯后,距离施药部位越近的针孔,产量越高,胶乳pH越偏碱,形成有规律的梯度变化。根据施药后树干各部位针孔产量的差别,分为高效区、低效区和气体微量扩散区。这两种气体对不果胶的幼树树围生长无明显的影响。
