1984年3月24日，福建省厂长（经理）研究会（福建省企业家协会的前身）在福州成立。参加大会的55位厂长（经理）怀着高度责任感，锐意改革，敢为天下先，联名向省委、省政府领导发出《请给我们“松绑”》的呼吁信。要求给企业“松绑放权”，一石激起千层浪，在全国引起巨大反响
On March 24, 1984, the Fujian Provincial Director (Manager) Research Association (predecessor of Fujian Entrepreneur Association) was established in Fuzhou. The 55 directors (managers) attending the conference with a high sense of responsibility, committed to reforms, and dared to be the first in the world, jointly issued an appeal letter to the provincial party committee and provincial government leaders to “please give us “relaxation.” Demand for enterprises to “unlock and decentralize their powers” has stimulated thousands of layers of waves and has caused tremendous repercussions throughout the country.
