该品种系西北农业大学农学系玉米新品种选育课题组育成,1995年经陕西省农作物品种审定委员会审定推广。特征特性:属中熟种,夏播生育期100天,春播20天。幼苗叶鞘浅紫色,苗势健壮,成株期株型紧凑,叶片浓绿上挺,成熟期茎叶青绿,抗大小斑病、丝黑穗病、青枯病、抗旱性强,但亦喜水肥。株高230～250厘米,穗位高80～90厘米。穗长25厘米,穗行数14～16行,
