在近几年推出的电视电影节目里,曾多次出现一种特殊的民族乐器——瓷瓯,该乐器以她的金石音质,美妙旋律,令众多观众听后醉心不已。我国古代乐器有金、石、丝、竹、匏、土、革、木八音,陶瓷乐器属于土的范围,其由来已久。据西安半坡村出土文物证实,新石器时代就有原始的陶瓷乐器,即陶制的口哨(或称为陶埙),它的形状像梨,空腹,只有一个音孔,吹起来发出“呜——呜”的声音。到殷代出现五孔陶埙,汉代出现六孔陶埙,已能吹奏出一些乐曲了。在后来漫长的岁月,陶瓷乐器种类不断增加。
