通过对吉林省玉米高产区1978~1993年16年的小区试验及高产示范田的产量结果分析,明确了公顷产量达到11250kg所需的环境条件是;上等肥力平地5~9月积温2900~2950℃·日、降水370~400mm,岗平地2900~2950℃·日、400~450mm,平洼地3000℃·日、370~400mm;中上肥力岗平地2950~3000℃·B、450~500mm;1060~1232小时日照能满足高产需要。在吉林省具备上述自然条件的玉米面积50万公顷左右,主要集中在长春、四平地区。其产量潜力可达到公顷13000kg。
