语言与文化密不可分。本文以商业广告丰富的实例,论证了英汉民族文化心理在商业广告语中的映射,从英汉思维模式、文化心理的视角讨论了中西广告语言的特点,体现了中西文化的差异与交融。社会文化影响并制约广告语言及其表达,广告语言则蕴涵或反映社会文化。英美民族崇尚求美、求异、求简、求实、求曲的文化心理决定了广告语言呈现出个性化、标新立异、含蓄、隽永等特点,对广告语言及中西文化的探讨有助于商业广告翻译的研究。
Language and culture are inseparable. This article demonstrates the mapping between English and Chinese national culture psychology in commercial advertisements with the example of rich commercial advertisements. It discusses the characteristics of Chinese and Western advertising languages from the perspective of English-Chinese thinking mode and cultural psychology, and reflects the differences and blend of Chinese and Western cultures. Social culture influences and restricts the advertising language and its expression, while the advertising language implies or reflects the social culture.
