At present, more and more English majors will choose French as their second language. There is a very close connection between French and English, which will inevitably bring certain positive and negative influences for students with a certain English foundation to learn French as a foreign language. Many students will consciously transfer their learned English knowledge to French language learning. This article mainly analyzes the migration theory and puts forward some teaching strategies to promote the development of the second foreign language teaching. In recent years, both in the political, economic, and cultural fields, the exchanges between China and France have become more and more close, plus the regular lifting of the Sino-French Cultural Year.
