The new curriculum standard puts forward in the general goal: to acquire some basic methods of analyzing and solving problems, to experience the diversity of methods to solve problems, to develop the awareness of innovation and to comprehensively apply mathematical knowledge to solve practical problems. Our teaching materials combine problem-solving and calculating teaching in the lower grades. From the students’ life experiences, the common quantitative relations, the basic strategies for problem solving and the original growing point of infiltration of modern mathematics, we present the content of solving the problems. year
