不少学者研究证明,软 X 射线电离密度大,生物效应高,诱变频率优于硬 X射线和γ射线。应用细胞培养技术,证明铝靶特征波(超软 X 射线)在诱发中国仓鼠细胞和人的二倍体成纤维细胞失活和硫代鸟嘌呤抗性突变上,比 X 硬射线、γ射线高得多,从细胞水平上证明了软 X 射线也可诱发生物突变。但目前软 X 射线用于育种实践的甚少。作者从1980年开始进行这方面的探索,本文就应用国产钼靶软 X 射线仪对早籼稻进行辐射处理,及其后代若干生产性状的诱变观察报道如下。
