利用我国自育的优良多胚O型系作轮回父本,同时与单胚雄性不育系及O型系进行回交,以达到使单胚二系同步完成细胞核置换,经济性状同步得到改良的目的。通过1990~1996年两批的杂交试验表明,利用甜菜多胚O型系作轮回父本对单胚二系授粉,其后代的单胚雄性不育系仍然表现不育性,单胚O型系仍具有保持不育性遗传的特性。被改良的15个单胚二系组合其F1代采种株均出现多胚性状,自交采种后在F2代采种株群中均出现了单胚性状的分离。该育种方法克服了以往首先改良O型系,而后再改良不育系的缺点,明显缩短育种年限。试验表明,经过回交改良后的单胚二系含糖率及抗褐斑病、耐根腐病性显著提高。

Tests showed that after the backcross improved single embryo two lines of sugar content and resistance to brown spot disease, root rot resistance significantly increased.
