棒材连轧过程对各连轧机的协调能力要求极高,其中任一轧机的波动都会影响其前后轧机状态及轧件形变。传统棒材轧制虽采用直流电机和活套装置,实现无张无扭轧制,但这并不能保证每道次轧件的变形和断面形状都合理、正确。通过对工程法轧制压力的综合分析以及对轧制过程中影响棒材直径的各相关量的全面考虑,建立了基于BP网络的椭圆-圆孔型轧制压力预测模型,再结合AGC系统共同实现棒材的高精度轧制。试验结果表明该模型具有较高的计算精度。
