新闻工作者学些古典诗歌是很必要的。读眉批和写眉批是学习古典诗歌的一种方法,可以借此提高我们的艺术鉴别力和欣赏水平,还可以锻炼自己的思维能力和写作技巧,尽管自己并不打算写诗。最近,一位同志送给我一本龚自珍和魏源手批的《简学斋诗》。这是今年才在上海影印的,朱墨两色,大开本。窗前展读,颇有“丹黄郑重万珠圆”的感觉。《简学斋诗》作者是乾嘉问的陈沆,字太初,著有《诗比兴笺》,留存的诗不多,以五古为最好。这一本除龚、魏的手批外,还有包世臣(慎伯)、姚学埉 Journalists learn classical poetry is necessary.
