High purity Factor VIII and Factor IX concentrates prepared by solvent / detergent treatment are still at risk of contaminating non-enveloped viruses. This paper reports the effects of final dry heat treatment on these preparations and non-enveloped viruses [Hepatitis A (HAV) and Canine Parvovirus (CPV)]. The HAV HM175 18F strain and the wild-type CPV were added to the clotting factor concentrate at a titer of 6.3 to 7.3 for radioimmunohistolysis units (RFU) / ml and 4.2 half of the tissue culture infection (TCID_ (50)), respectively. The infectivity of HAV was determined by radioimmunoassay or ELISA
