提起江苏的徐天敏,中年以上美术界人士差不多都知道。40多年间他所做的大量美术组织、领导工作,特别是任江苏省美术馆馆长期间所做的开拓性的奉献,已使他名播海内外。然而,对于他在“幕后”进行的坚韧不拔的艺术探索,却很少有人了解,甚至连我这个与他共事20多年的副馆长,也一直未曾看到他的作品全貌。直到最近他“近水楼台后得月”,在本馆举办首次个人画展,这才让人大吃一惊,原来徐天敏的水墨世界竟有如此丰富、雄壮！ Xu Tianmin brought Jiangsu, almost all middle-aged art circles know.
