在孔子的思想中君子与小人是一对相互对立的范畴 ,二者具有不同的道德修养和人格内涵。孔子认为君子寻求善道 ,小人追求私利 ;君子崇尚道德 ;小人推崇武力 ;君子见利思义 ,小人见利忘义 ;君子崇仁遵礼 ,小人弃仁违礼。孔子的这些思想主张在今天仍有借鉴意义。
In Confucius’ thought, a gentleman and a villain are a pair of opposite categories. Both of them have different moral cultivation and personality connotation. Confucius thought that the gentleman seeks goodness and the villain seeks selfishness; the gentleman advocates morality; the villain respects the force; the gentleman sees the meaning of righteousness; These ideological ideas of Confucius still have reference meaning today.
