桐乡,地处长江三角洲杭嘉湖平原腹地,隶属于浙江嘉兴,连续多年位居全国综合经济实力百强县(市)前列,2013年实现地区生产总值573.47亿元,规上工业总产值1252亿元。与全国其他经济发达地区一样,该市在工业高速发展的同时也面临着传统特色产业触及“天花板”、总体产业层次偏低等“拦路虎”。在此大背景下,桐乡人没有退缩,而是大胆闯、大胆试,走出了一条独具特色的地方经济转型发展之路。正如
