理论联系实际是我们党的三大优良传统作风之一,是马克思主义的一个基本原则。党的十五届六中全会通过的《中央中央关于加强和改进党的作风建设的决定》把“坚持理论联系实际”作为当前和今后一个时期党的作风建设的主要任务之一。我们每个党员特别是党员领导干部都必须牢牢把握解放思想、实事求是这个精髓,认真学习马列主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论和江泽民同志“三个代表”的重要思想,坚持用科学的理论武装头脑、指导工作实践,这是我们坚持党的基本路线、基本纲领和一系列方针政策,把建设有中国特色社会主义的伟大事业不断推向前进的重要保证。
The linking of theory with practice is one of the three fine traditions of our party and a basic principle of Marxism. The “Decision of the Central Government Central Committee on Strengthening and Improving the Style Construction of the Party” adopted by the 6th Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee takes “adhering to the theory of practice in connection with reality” as one of the main tasks of the party’s style construction at present and in the forthcoming period. Each of our party members, especially party members and leading cadres, must firmly grasp the essence of emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts, and conscientiously study the important ideas of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Comrade Jiang Zemin and the important thinking of the ’Three Represents,’ and persist in using scientific theories Arming their heads and guiding their work practices. This is an important guarantee for us to constantly push forward the great cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics in adhering to the party’s basic line, basic guidelines and a series of principles and policies.
