虽然在地震中被切出了一道200多米长的口子,但工程人员认为,在目前的枯水期,悬在成都市“头上”的紫坪铺水库至今仍然安全。5月中下旬起,都江堰及岷江上游地区相继进入丰水期,这一过程要持续到10月左右。2006年10月,岷江上游的大量降水曾使紫坪铺水库的水位升至875.5米,这已高出此次面板裂缝所在位置30多米。而对岷江上的数百个水库来说,这都是一个问题。 Although a hole of more than 200 meters was cut during the earthquake, engineers believed that Zipingpu Reservoir, which was suspended above Chengdu during the current dry season, is still safe. In late May, Dujiangyan and the upper reaches of the Minjiang River have entered the wet season, this process should continue until about October. In October 2006, a large amount of precipitation in the upper reaches of the Minjiang River had raised the water level of the Zipingpu Reservoir to 875.5 meters, which was 30 meters above the location where the panel cracks were located. This is a problem for hundreds of reservoirs on the Minjiang River.
