This article gives the definition of solutionizing nitriding treatment, reviewed the research status of solutionizing nitriding and nitrogen-containing martensite. Including nitriding martensitic treatment; compound layer austenitic nitrocarburizing; high nitrogen surface treatment; high temperature nitriding and low temperature quenching surface diffusion nitriding and other new characteristics and uses.
