库恩的科学范式论不仅奠定了科学哲学中历史主义学派的基础,而且开辟了科学历史说明的认知途径。通过比较库恩“范式”与福多“心理模块”两个重要概念的异同,可以清楚地看到库恩范式在相当大程度上所具有的心理模块特性。这表明,作为社会文化范畴的科学范式与作为认知心理学范畴的心理模块具有跨层次的关联性和同构性。在此基础上,揭示库恩范式的心理模块性有助于消除库恩范式论中认知说明的不彻底性,使范式论的认知基础更加牢固。
Kuhn’s theory of scientific paradigm not only laid the foundation of the school of historicism in philosophy of science, but also opened up a cognitive way of illustrating the history of science. By comparing the similarities and differences between the two important concepts of Kuhn “paradigm ” and Fodor “mental module ”, we can clearly see that the Kuhn’s paradigm has a large extent the psychological module characteristics. This shows that the scientific paradigm as a category of socio-culture has cross-level relevance and isomorphism with the psychology module as a category of cognitive psychology. On this basis, revealing the psychological modularity of the Kuhn paradigm helps to eliminate the incompleteness of cognitive description in Kuhn’s paradigm and reinforce the cognitive foundation of the paradigmatic theory.
