本文介绍模拟失重和低重环境的一个落塔试验设备,它的有效落高40米,失重时间2.8秒。主要用于研究运载火箭、卫星及飞船在失重环境下液体推进剂的控制与管理,确保发动机和姿控系统的多次起动和正常工作。落塔设备是利用振动试验塔提供的高度研制的。采用较大的组合式环形阻力板调节外舱下落速度;通过一系列试验选定适当比重和粒度的聚苯乙烯球和合理的外舱头部外形,使外舱下落阻力和缓冲过载都较小而进深合理;通过变换不同口径喷嘴改变推力。本文着重介绍试验设备,也谈到试验方法。
