为庆贺著名闽剧表演艺术家郑奕奏艺术生活七十年,福建省文化局、文联、剧协分会、戏曲研究所于十一月六日,在福州联合举行了纪念会。参加大会的有福建省、福州市的有关负责同志、文艺界代表和郑奕舅同志的历届学生等。被誉为“福建梅兰芳”的郑奕奏同志从十岁被卖进戏班学艺,到现在已整整七十周年。由于他有着超人的天赋,名师的传授,很早就成为倍受欢迎的名演员,曾有“奕奏初唱凤阳歌,观客挤断石头桥”的佳话。他的表演艺术以真实细腻,一碘雅不俗为主要特点.这是他在勤学苦练、博采众长的基础上,逐步形成的艺术风格。几十年来,他演过近百个剧目,如《杜十娘》、《孤儿血》、《百蝶香柴扇》、《秦香莲》等,塑造了不同类型的妇女形象,表达了人民反封建、反压迫的精神。五
