高考英语作文总分25分，理论答题时间是25分钟。考生要在规定的时间内完成一篇高质量150字左右的作文，博得阅卷老师的好评，除了要具备一定的英语表达能力，还要会“包装”作文，才能让阅卷老师一看到答卷就“一见钟情”，产生良好的第一印象，从而才能取得高分。英语作文是一项综合性很强的试题，需要考生注意很多细节。本文就如何“包装”作文谈几点注意事项，相信对同学们有所裨益。
一、 迎合评分标准
让我们看一下高考英语作文评分标准中第五档（21—25分）要求：
1. 完全完成试题规定的任务；
2. 覆盖所有要点；
3. 应用了较多的语法结构和词汇；
4. 语法结构或词汇方面有些许错误，但为尽力使用较复杂结构或较高级词汇所致，具备较强的语言运用能力；
5. 有效地使用了语句间的连接成分，使全文结构紧凑；
6. 完全达到预期的写作目的。
第1、6两条是对作文的整体要求，只有达到2、3、4、5条要求才能满足1和6标准，由此可见，我们写作时候要列好文章要点，不能遗漏。要有意识地应用多种语法结构，高级词汇，忌结构单一重复。要根据上下文、前后句的逻辑关系选用恰当的连接词。我们通常说的运用高级结构、词汇和连接成分主要包括下列要素：
1. 定语从句（几乎所有高考范文中都有）。如：
应该回收废旧电池
We should recycle the waste batteries. （一般表达）
→The batteries which have been used up should be recycled.
2. 强调句。如：
生产厂家应负责回收和处理废旧电池
The factory should be responsible for recycling the waste batteries. （一般表达）
→It is the factory that ought to be responsible for recycling and dealing with the waste batteries.
3. 倒装句（宜在文末讲述自己的观点使用）。如：
只有这样才能建立和谐社会
Only in this way can we build a harmonious society.
4. -ed； -ing 分词作状语。如：
厂家可以回收废电池减少污染，保护环境。
By recycling the waste batteries， the factory can reduce pollution and protect the environment.
→By recycling the waste batteries， the factory can reduce pollution， protecting the environment.
5. 使用连接成分（体会下列范文文中的连接词）
In general， the service is satisfactory. The hall is clean and tidy. The dishes look inviting and taste delicious as well. What's more， the workers there treat us as their friends， which makes us feel very happy.
However， we feel the price of the meals is a little too high. Besides， we can only have a limited variety of dishes. In addition， we have to stand in line for a long time. Therefore， I suggest some measures be taken to solve the problem so that we can enjoy our meals at school.
记住并能运用下列的连接成分：
1. 表示顺序：First…Second…Then…last but not least
2. 表示递进：What's more； Besides； In addition； To make matters worse； What's worse
3. 表示对称：on one hand…on the other hand， for one thing…for another…
4. 表示因果： as a result/ consequence； The reason why…is that…due to the fact that…
5. 表示转折：however； but
6. 表示让步：Though/Although…In spite of sth； In spite of the fact that…
7. 引出观点：As far as I'm concerned； Personally； I hold the view that…
二、 迎合改卷老师心理， 打造首尾，工整书写
高考英语作文阅卷时间平均一篇作文在一分钟以内，要想在一分钟内最大限度地展示你的亮点，除了上面提到的，还要注意下列细节：
1. 开头两句不出错，结尾两句不空泛
开头好能马上给阅卷老师留下好印象，建立良好的首因效应。考生要注意开头两句不能出错，否则等于在开篇就把自己的缺点暴露出来了。在文未阐述自己观点的时候不能空洞，更不能重复上文别人的观点再抄写一遍。
2. 字母宽肥不翘腿， 句号逗号不混淆
书写也是关键之处，好的书写除了能展示考生自己书写能力，也是对阅卷老师的尊敬，一定会有好的回报。建议字母写得宽点、肥点，有些字母的“腿”不要翘得很远，连接到下一行，其中字母f、g、j、p、q、y最容易“翘腿”。建议同学们摹写英语的comic sans 字体，视觉效果极佳，扫描到电脑里也美观。示范如下：
3. 段落分明不混杂， 行首行尾不留空。
英语作文是一篇小文章，而不是一段话语，所以要段落分明，层次分明，这样让阅卷老师一目了然，很快看到要点。另外要注意每段话的开头要右缩进3—4个字母的位置，其余的要行首行末对齐，绝不能像是抄写语句翻译一样不成段落。
