根据对在校学生的现状调查分析、研究,小学生对传统节日的了解不容乐观。在美术课堂教学中,教师更侧重于基础知识传授,重难点的突破上,很少有对传统节日进行讲解并让学生深入参与的活动。潍坊素来有“民俗之乡”的美称,在每一个传统节日中,潍坊都以其丰富、浓郁的庆祝内容、民俗民艺美不胜收。因此在平时的美术教学中,因地、因时地利用传统节日文化资源,结合美术(视觉)载体,让学生注重传统、尊重传统、弘扬传统。
