2013年,由陈力执导,河北影视集团、华夏电影发行有限责任公司联合出品的电影《周恩来的四个昼夜》,票房达到七千多万元,并获得金鸡奖最佳影片和中美电影节金天使奖,名利双收。在主旋律电影一片惨淡的情况下,这部低成本的影片一枝独秀,这是否预示着主旋律电影在残酷的电影市场上即将迎来春天·当然不是,《周恩来的四昼夜》的成功有很多原因,也由此引发了关于主旋律电影的一些思考。究竟什么是主旋律电影·关于主旋律电影是否应该有一个重新的定位·主旋律电影应该走怎样的模式才能避免“一日游”和血本无归·这都是值得积极探讨和深入研究的问题。
