单元是教材组元的基本形式,教材中的单元组合一般是以主题、写法、文体、学习方法等作为依据,将文章组合进行单元教学。单元本身就集中了大量丰富的材料,和以单篇为基础的综合阅读相比,它本身能为综合阅读提供广阔的空间。但是单元的整体编排也有着自己的局限性,不管以什么标准作为组元依据,都不可能兼顾到学生广泛的学习需求,都不可能适应学生的具体学情。因此,我们需要依据学情开展综合阅读。
