柱体(Column)经扭转後产生的应力与应变,就自由扭转(FreeTorsion)讲,可有一般性之解答.然而当柱体截面之扭曲(Warping)受到限制时,应变或应力与外力间之关系常极端复杂,且难以求得普遍性之解答.故通常於讨论此类问题时,往往先作某种假定(Assumption),藉以简化问题.最著称者有Timoshenko氏对于薄壁柱体限制扭转(Restricted Torsion of Columns of Thin-Walled Sections)的近似解法.不过当应用此法于闭口截面之薄壁柱体时(Thin-Walled Columns of Closed Sections),常不能得到满意之结果.此文所述乃对于闭口截面,薄壁柱体之限制掀转,另一近似解法.以其所根据之假定,对于某数种柱体,甚为真确,故能得出较正确之答案.且此法运算简单,适于工程上实际之应用.
The stress and strain produced by the twisting of the column can be generalized in terms of Free Torsion. However, when the warping of the cylinder section is limited, the relationship between strain or stress and external force is often extremely complicated, and it is difficult to obtain universal answers. Therefore, when discussing such problems, it is often necessary to make some assumptions to simplify the problem. The best known is Timoshenko’s approximate solution to Thin-Walled Sections. However, when this method is applied to Thin-Walled Columns of Closed Sections, satisfactory results are often not obtained. This article describes closed-section cross-sections, limited-slewing of thin-walled cylinders, and another approximate solution. Based on the assumptions on which they are based, it is very true for some kinds of cylinders, so it can give a more correct answer. And this method is simple and suitable for practical applications in engineering.
