The contract price of ethylene in Europe was officially formed in August at € 1,205 / t, down 15 euros per ton from the previous month. Despite the lower raw material prices in the upper reaches, most producers in Europe said they did not intend to lower their offer prices in the PVC market in August. A large Western European supplier said he has raised his PVC offer in August by 20 euros / t.
