形式婚姻，简称形婚，又称互助婚姻，是指为了某种目的而与另一人进行婚礼或法律上的结婚手续，但实际上只是名义上的夫妻身份，而无实质内容。例如一个男同性恋者和一个女同性恋者举行婚礼，组建家庭；或者一些人为了办移民、到外地工作；或者为了享受政府给已婚人士的福利、权利；或者被迫遵从家人意愿与异性结婚等，婚后有名无实。
隐婚是已经履行了结婚的法定手续，却并不对外宣称自己“已婚”身份。都市里有很多已婚男女隐瞒着自己的婚姻状况，他们的无名指上没有戒指，像单身贵族一样出入各种场所。
形形色色的婚姻都是两个人、甚至两个家庭共同经营的结果，或保卫或摧毁都得三思而后行。
