以碳还原五氧化二钒制取的三氧化二钒为样品,经碱液处理,使钒(Ⅳ,Ⅴ)浸入碱液,经离心使其与钒(Ⅲ)分离。测不溶物中的钒,即为钒(Ⅲ)之量。 将碱液处理后的不溶物—不含钒(Ⅴ)的钒(Ⅲ)的样品和未经碱液处理的同一含钒(Ⅴ)样品分别置于7N硫酸中,使钒(Ⅲ)与加入的重铬酸钾标液定显作用。分析二者之差即可求出钒(Ⅴ)之量。 在碱液处理样品的离心液中测钒(Ⅳ,Ⅴ)之合量,扣除钒(Ⅴ)即为钒(Ⅳ)之量。
