本文通过对高职院校学生英语教学现状及其社会需求的分析,就职业英语在高职院校教学中存在的理据,提出了高职英语教学与专业教学相结合的必要性和重要性。高职英语教学应根据其教学目的及学生特点,更新教学理念,改革教学模式,强化高职特色,落实职业英语教学对培养学生的英语应用能力的促进作用。
Based on the analysis of the status quo of English teaching in vocational college students and their social needs, this essay puts forward the necessity and importance of combining English teaching with professional teaching in vocational colleges based on the existing evidence of professional English teaching in higher vocational colleges. Vocational English teaching should be based on their teaching objectives and characteristics of students, update teaching philosophy, reform teaching mode, strengthen the characteristics of higher vocational education, vocational English teaching to students ability to promote the application of English.
