The study of atherosclerosis mechanism is of great significance for the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease. In this field, domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of work. In recent years, there have been some advances in the study of arterial walls, but many important issues have not yet been resolved. The arteries, like other organs, have their own enzyme system and participate in the material metabolism of the blood vessels. When atherosclerosis is formed, how changes in aortic wall enzymes are increasingly aroused people’s attention. Some people think that atherosclerosis is a change in the enzyme system at the beginning, followed by an obstacle to the metabolism of the blood vessel walls. For this reason, we are discussing atherosclerosis.
