In the first half of 2013, the market demand for construction cranes in China continued to be sluggish. The production and sales in the whole industry continued to decline on the basis of the decline in 2012. From January to June 2013, the operating revenue of the whole industry was 13.9 billion yuan, down 26.6% over the same period of last year. The total profit amounted to 1.24 billion yuan, down 43.4% over the same period of previous year. Sales of various types of construction cranes totaled more than 15,000, down 23.9% over the same period of last year.
