近年在矿物原料工艺学与矿物学之间发展起一门新科学——工艺矿物学。其基本目的是经济、合理地利用矿物原料,提高矿物原料加工工艺水平。我们知道,矿物学的任务是研究天然矿物的成分、结构、性质和形成,而矿物原料工艺学则是研究矿物原料加工的方法、条件和产品;作为二者间的边缘学科工艺矿物学是关于天然矿物的工艺性状的科学。它应该研究天然矿物的工艺性质及其在加工过程中的行为,研究天然矿物的成分和结构与其工艺性质及加工产品之间的联系,还要研究矿物的工艺性质与其形成条件
In recent years, a new science-process mineralogy has been developed between mineralogy and mineralogy. Its basic purpose is to make economic and rational use of mineral raw materials and improve the level of processing of mineral raw materials.
