对于Kayne在分析两个英语句子时将介词with处理成等同于and的并列连接词情况,本文认为该句法运算操作既违反了格指派理论,也与最简方案的句法运算简约性追求相悖,提出在底层结构中将with并列结构处理成小句的方案,并在命题逻辑、谓词逻辑以及内涵模型的框架下对相关句式进行了形式语义解读。本文还指出,Kayne的处理方案为英汉有关介词的语法化研究提供了启示。
As for Kayne’s analysis of two English sentences, the prepositions are dealt with into parallel conjunctions which are the same as and. This paper argues that the syntactic operations not only violate the theory of grid assignment, but also contradict the simple pursuit of parsimony operation In parallel with the parallel structure into the sentence in the underlying structure of the program, and in the propositional logic, predicate logic and connotation model under the framework of the relevant sentence form a formal semantic interpretation. The paper also points out that Kayne ’s treatment scheme provides some enlightenment for the English - Chinese grammaticalization of prepositions.
