依托市场建组织山东泰山钢材大市场现有商户788家,从业人员1.5万人。2006年成立市场党委,下设10个党支部,现有党员243名,其中流动党员123名。作为大型商品交易专业市场,经营业户多、从业人员杂、流动党员多,党建工作难度大:一是党员难管理。市场内既有退休职工党员、下岗失业职工党员,还有大量从外地流入的党员,由于来自不同地方、不同行业、不同领域,分布零散、流动性大,正常的组织生活和教育管理难以落实。二是作用难发挥。多数流动党员远离组织关系所在党组织,有的不愿亮明身份,不愿参加党的组织生活,游离于组织之外。
