Beginning in the 1970s, academics began to create well-designed explanatory models to explain the user’s acceptance and adoption of technology in response to the high cost of development and use of information technology and the relatively low success rate. Among them, Davis is best known for its technology acceptance model (TAM) based on the model of rational behavior. Later researchers continued to extend or integrate TAM and related models such as TAM2, UTAUT, and TAM3, each of which has its own advantages , But there are also some limitations. In this paper, the information technology acceptance and adoption model is reviewed, and the advantages and disadvantages of several important models are analyzed.
